MSD Monday Weather Report And Tuesday Forecast
The Meteorological Services Department (MSD) Monday released a Weather report for Monday and a weather forecast for Tuesday 9, March.
The report indicated that warm conditions were persisted across the country with isolated thunderstorms in Mashonaland west province though the amounts were 14mm Kariba and 10mm Chinhoyi.
However, the atmosphere is Iess humid with a north-easterly airflow prevailing in most parts of the country. The rest of the country was mostly sunny and warm as the atmosphere continues to dry off from the south.
MSD projected that Tuesday would be mostly sunny and warm across the country though mild in the morning. Isolated thunderstorms remain probable in all Mashonaland and Harare metropolitan provinces.

• Hot daytime conditions may lead to dehydration
• Thunder can still strike from a distant cloud (This is commonly called a -bolt from the blue).
• Keep hydrated: ensure you drink lots of water from protected sources.
• Poultry producers should note broilers are sensitive to temperature variations and therefore need to be checked regularly and adjustment made.
• Fanner with crops that still need significant amounts of water should plan with irrigation in mind.

• Remember when you are close enough to hear thunder less than 30 seconds after you see lightning then you are close enough to get struck. It is safer to seek shelter in a closed building when this occurs.
