The Sables Rebrand

The Sables in a glamourous event held in Borrowdale in Harare recently launched the Sables 2023 campaign aimed at helping the club get ready for the 2023 World Cup, The Herald reports. The event was also used to unveil the new Sables logo which according to the publication signifies the majesty of the sable. The Rugby Community also set a campaign vehicle the Sables Rugby Network and also launched the roadmap for France 2023.

According to the publication, they were 3 guests of honors at the rebranding function including a former Sables legend Adrian Garvey:

  • The guests of honour at the launch were Zimbabwe Sables and Springbok legend Adrian Garvey (Rugby World Cup 1987 and 1991)
  • Zimbabwe-born former Springboks star winger, Tonderai Chavhanga.
  • They were joined in a televised solidarity message by David Pocock, who has played for the Australian Wallabies

After the live launch of the new vehicle the, Sables Rugby Network, the Sables the merchandise shop was also launched. It will reportedly have the 1987 and 1991 rugby jerseys on sale.
