Linda Masarira In Court On Theft Of Trust Property Charges

Opposition LEAD president Linda Masarira was on Thursday dragged before a Harare magistrate facing theft of trust property charges.

Masarira (38) allegedly sold her landlord’s property worth US$3 140 before converting the money to her own use.

She appeared before Harare magistrate Richard Mangosi who remanded her out of custody on free bail.

Mangosi deferred the matter to 7 April.

The State alleged that sometime in January 2018 Lawrence Madamombe, the landlord, left his property in Masasrira’s custody at his place of residence in Marlborough.
