Hospitalised COVID-19 Cases Increase

COVID-19 hospitalized cases in the past 24 hours increased by 45 cases from 102 the previous day to 147 yesterday. This was revealed by the Ministry of Health in a statement that stated that of the 147 cases recorded 41 cases were severe a steep hike from the previous day’s 6 severe cases.

Said the ministry on the update:

As of 21 February 2021 @1500 hrs there were 147 hospitalised cases: Assymptomatic 63, mild to moderate 43, severe 36  and 5 in intensive care units.

In the same update, the Ministry also stated that Harare had zero COVID-19 deaths for the third day in a roll and the only COVID-19 death was recorded in Manicaland.

Yesterday Health Care workers throughout the country shared videos and photos of them receiving the COVID-19 jab that came from China last week.
