Appeal Bail Hearing For Student Activist Allan Moyo Set For Tomorrow

Appeal Bail hearing for student activist who has been in pre-trial detention for 71 days will be heard before Justice Chinamora tomorrow. This was revealed by Zimbabwe Lawyers for human rights which stated that the appeal hearing was first scheduled for Thursday 18 February before it was moved to tomorrow:

We have just been advised that the Appeal Bail Hearing for Alan Moyo will now be heard on Wednesday 17 February at 09:00 hrs before Justice Chinamora at Harare High Court

Moyo, a UZ student, has been in detention for 71 days after he was arrested in December for allegedly calling for a revolt against President Mnangagwa’s govt.

Moyo was arrested on 7 December during a protest by students and he has been in detention since then High court judge Justice Foroma dismissed Moyo’s bail appeal last month,
