Liverpool Win To Close Gap On Manchester City

Liverpool won 3-1 against West Ham on Sunday to cut the gap on English Premier League (EPL) log leaders, Manchester City.

Mohammed Salah’s second-half brace and an 84th-minute strike from Georginio Wijnaldum secured the three points for the Reds.

The Hammers got their consolation goal in the 87th minute through Dawson who converted from close range after Robertson flicked it into the West Ham defender’s path.

Liverpool, with 40 points, are now four (4) points behind Manchester City (44) who have a game in hand.

Meanwhile, new Chelsea manager, Tuchel registered his first win since taking over from Lampard after sharing spoils with Wolves in his first match as the Blues’ boss.
