4 CHAN Tournament Zim Delegation Members Tests Positive For COVID-19

4 people from the squad that went to Cameroon for the CHAN tournament have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 and they are in quarantine in Cameroon right now.

This was revealed by ZIFA which stated that:

ZIFA confirms that 4 members of the CHAN delegation tested positive to Covid-19 and have remained quantined in Cameroon . Meanwhile, other members of the delegation are now in the country . We wish quick recovery to all the affected players and officials.

Zimbabwe was kicked out of the tournament last week after not winning a single game at the tournament and making history for substituting a player 149 seconds after kick-off.

This comes after 9 players and 5 officials tested positive for COVID-19 while in camp late last month as they were preparing to go to Cameroon for the tournament.
