Zimbabwe in 2020 received $130+ Million to help the beleaguered Southern African nation fight the COVID-19 pandemic from a number of well-wishers, Bloomberg reports.

This was revealed by the Finance Minister himself who revealed that there are some of the donors that donated money to help Zimbabwe fight the pandemic:

  2. $60 million from the European Union
  3. $8 million from the U.S.,

Zimbabwe is yet to announce a comprehensive plan to roll out the COVID-19 vaccine while some countries have already made plans to acquire the vaccine. The UK last month pledged to vaccinate 3 million Zimbabweans.
