Bulawayo Man Drugs And Sexually Assaults Friend
Bulawayo police are looking for a 27-year-old man who allegedly drugged a friend and sodomised him after celebrating New Year.
Police say Tinashe Chafachaipa disappeared after his victim, name withheld, made a report to the police on Thursday last week.
Bulawayo provincial police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident saying the assault happened on the 1st of January after Chafachaipa had invited the complainant to his house to drink beer.
He added that at around 10 pm, the complainant proceeded to the accused person’s place of residence and they started drinking White Hall Whisky together. Ncube said:
After a few minutes, the complainant felt dizzy and slept whilst sitting on the chair. On 2 January 2021 at around 2 am, the complainant woke up and found himself sleeping on the accused person’s bed naked.

Ncube added that the complainant went home to take a bath and discovered that he had semen on his stomach and his penis was very painful.
The complainant went back to Chafachaipa’s place of residence, questioned him and he confessed that he had anal intercourse with him once without his consent.
The complainant made a report on 13 January at around 12PM at ZRP western Commonage but the police failed to locate Chafachaipa.
They referred the complainant to Mpilo Central Hospital for medical examination.
