The remains of the tourist who fell into the 108-meter-deep Victoria Falls chasm who was identified as Roy George Tinashe Dikinya, have been found trapped 100m down the cliff – 8m above water – but are yet to be retrieved.

Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Management (Zimparks) spokesperson, Tinashe Farawo said rescue teams were now working to retrieve the body.  Said Farawo:

Meanwhile, Star FM journalist Tilda Moyo posted a picture on social media which is alleged to be of Dikinya before he slipped into the Victoria Falls Danger Zone and disappeared.

One Comment on “PICTURE: Tourist Who Slipped Into Victoria Falls Chasm

  1. A Zambian tabloid wrote ” A drunk tourist fell into the gorge….”

Zimbabwean tabloids say “The information/circumstances are still sketchy”

Why would anyone let a drunk man walk near a cliff, as we are told he was in the company of a woman friend?
