Award-winning popular Zimbabwe Dancehall artist Winky D, born Wallace Chirumiko, has expressed gratitude to his legion of fans for their support in 2020 in spite of the hardships encountered throughout the year.
In a statement on his social media channels, the Ninja President, as he is popularly called, said the challenges faced last year should not be an obstacle to enjoying the new year. He wrote:
[The year] 2020 was a dispossessor. Precious lives were lost and we tried to adapt in despair.
2020 pressures shouldn’t be an obstacle to excellence in 2021.
Thanking you all for standing together with us in 2020. Your support was oxygen for Gafa life.
Wishing you a Gafaful 2021 and fast forward from challenges.
