4 Drivers Die At The Congested Beitbridge Border Post

4 Truck Drivers have reportedly died at congested Beitbridge border post eNCA reports. CEO of the Road Freight Association Gavin Kelly confirmed the deaths and said the deaths were mainly caused by a number of reasons. Kelly said:

1. Drivers are just sitting in their trucks because they can’t leave their trucks because someone will take their place
2. The temperatures at the border are unbearable as it reaches up to 44 degrees
3. The drivers have no access to water and food and they have no access to ablution facilities
4. There is no health response in the area at the moment.

Kelly did not shed more light on why the drivers died or when they died because the congestion started a few days ago. The identity and the nationality of the late drivers were not revealed. We will update this article if new details emerge
