Bulawayo Man Arrested For Pointing A Gun At His Wife

A Bulawayo man will rue the day he pointed a gun at his wife during a domestic dispute as he was arrested and arraigned before the court facing domestic abuse charges, New Zimbabwe reports.

Leonard Ndlovu reportedly assaulted his wife Thabisile with a broom, pushed her down a flight of stairs, took her cellphones and pointed a gun at her, and threatened to kill her on 24 November 2020.

The state alleges that:

Ndlovu arrived home and took Thabisile’s cell phones and when she asked why he was acting in such a manner, Ndlovu assaulted her using a sweeping broom all over the body and also pushed her down the staircase.

He locked all the house doors and pointed a pistol, threatening to kill her. Thabisile made a police report and was referred to hospital for medical attention
