Khupe's Lies About Having A Good Relationship With Tsvangirai Leaves A Bitter Taste In My Mouth - Vincent Tsvangirai

Vincent Tsvangirai, the Glen View South Legislator who is the son of Morgan Tsvangirai in a letter seen by New Zimbabwe on Wednesday expressed his disappointment in the MDC T court-appointed interim leader Thokozani Khupe who he branded a liar.

Vincent Tsvangirai said Khupe was not on good terms with his father when he died as she rebelled against the firebrand politician and even shouted at him:

…Now while she (Khupe) may have her good qualities here and there, her reputation the last 6-7 years has undoubtedly become unbecoming of someone who wants to become the president of a democratic party.

She rebelled against MT and showed no sign of respect to her president going as far as to point her finger in his face and shouting at him using his first name, the lie that she peddles saying she shared a nice relationship with MT even to his death always leave a bitter taste in my mouth and reminds me why politicians are always viewed in bad light.

Tsvangirai said this as he was stating his reasons why he is backing Douglas Mwonzora in his bid to become the party’s president in the upcoming court-sanctioned congress. Vincent became the Glen View MP following the death of his sister Vimbai who died due to the injuries she sustained in an accident last year.
