SA’s Anele Mdoda Tests Positive For COVID-19

Prominent South African media personality and 94.7 radio host, Anele Mdoda, has announced that she tested positive for Covid-19.

Anele made the revelation on microblogging site, Twitter, after her fans who observed her absence on her morning radio show asked if she was going to host the show soon. She tweeted:

Covid-19 has no rules. It does what it wants. It grows where it wants. It attacks as it pleases and takes whomever it wants. Brace yourselves.

Anele told fans she has been resting at home and has been taking drugs to help her system beat the virus.

she joins rappers AKA and Cassper Nyovest, actress Ama Qamata and singer Brian Temba on the list of South African celebrities who have contracted the coronavirus.

South Africa has the highest number of coronavirus cases and fatalities in Africa and is among the worst affected globally.
