Ronnie has both male and female se_xual organs and she said she has gone through various surgeries to try and manage her condition.
Ronnie details her journey to self-acceptance as she says she was tormented by her condition and she suffered mental issues because of it.
Ronnie is advocating for recognition because she said intersex people are not recognized in the constitution of Zimbabwe.
‘Even when intersex people get violated there is no recourse, we are not recognized by the constitution, there is no provision for us’
