United Refineries Update On Suspension Of Operations
The United Refineries Limited has said it is working with Bulawayo City Council Water Department to ensure water supply restoration to the Kelvin Industry area. In a statement, the United Refineries Limited said progress made so far suggests that its factory operations would resume by next week Monday. We present the statement in full below.
UPDATE ON SUSPENSION OF FACTORY OPERATIONS DUE TO WATER SUPPLY
Our company engineers are working together with the Bulawayo City Council Water Department to ensure water supply to the Kelvin Industry area is restored promptly. Based on the feedback from the joint team, our factory operations should resume by Monday the 9th of November. We are grateful for the responsiveness of the Town Clerk and the City Water Engineer’s Office for giving attention to the issue of resuming water supplies to the Kelvin Industrial Area.
