Zimbabwean journalist cum political activist Hopewell Chin’ono has said individuals who steal state resources and their enablers should not enjoy peace. He proposed that the citizenry should keep demanding for the restoration of those resources. To support his argument, he posted a video of a young boy who was being chased by chickens which are after he is holding in his hands. He speaks when this week he has been in a verbal war with contemporary musician Jah Prayzah whom he accuses of singing songs in support of the corrupt and oppressive government. Watch the video below for more.
“Thieves, Enablers Shouldn’t Have Peace” – Chin’ono

I think Hopewell is now confused. Why should everyone think the same way – democracy is all about divergence of views. Why should he attack Jah Prayzah for his freedom of expression? This is already ‘Animal Farm’ scenario. We were all sympathising with Hopewell for expressing freedom of speech, and now he is denying Jah Prayzah the same freedom!
