South African based Malawian preacher Sheperd Bushiri and his wife Mary will spend 4 more nights in custody after a Pretoria Magistrate Thandi Thelede postponed their case to Friday because she will not be available on any other day this week, eNCA reports.
According to the publication, the magistrate:
Noted with concern that there were a large number of people outside on Monday who were not social distancing. She stated she cannot risk having large crowds outside without sufficient time to attend to the matter.
The couple Sheperd and Mary Bushiri was arrested last week for fraud involving R102 Million. The state reportedly opposed bail because they said they need more time to investigate.
