List Of Allowances Teachers Expect To Be Paid

Eight unions representing Zimbabwean teachers have requested an urgent meeting with President Emmerson Mnangagwa to appraise him on the challenges bedevilling the education sector.

Among other things, the unions want sector-specific allowances which they listed as follows:

• risk allowances
• special class allowance
• invigilation allowance
• grade 7 teacher allowance
• teachers living with disability allowance
• bloated class allowance
• composite class allowance
• class teacher allowance

The unions are also seeking a revision of the already existing allowances which they listed as;
