WATCH: It's High Time The UN Intervenes In The Crisis In Zimbabwe - Sikhala On eNCA

Firebrand MDC Alliance Vice Chairman Job Sikhala while speaking to South Africa’s eNCA called upon the United Nations to intervene in the human rights abuse crisis in Zimbabwe that made international news a while ago. Speaking to the publication, outspoken Sikhala said:

There is gross abuse and also breach of international law as far as issues of human rights are concerned in Zimbabwe. Torture is an international crime, abduction is an international crime and these are things being practiced in our country on a daily basis. Reports have been put in place and we wonder why the United Nations quiet about this and we call upon the international body to deal with the Zimbabwe question once and for all.

Sikhala also took the time to talk about the state of the Prison he was detained in for close to a month and said:

The conditions at Chikurubi Maximum Prison is that it is not worth human habitation, not at all standards. It’s one prison which must be condemned and in the new order we are going to make sure that we shut down that horrific infrastructure, which the government is saying it’s a prison, into a museum

Sikhala who has been arrested 65 times also said he will not give up on fighting for the freedom of Zimbabwe.
