ZINASU President Denied Bail

ZINASU President Takudzwa Ngadziore who was out on bail after he was arrested after staging a protest at Impala Car Rental was this morning denied bail by a Harare Magistrate Judith Taruvinga who said he is a threat to public safety, ZimLive reports.

Ngadziore was arrested on Thursday while addressing a live presser close to Impala Car Rental, Ngadziore was first attacked by an unidentified man before he was handed over to the police.

In denying him bail, Taruvinga said young Ngadziore was undermining the bail system:

The accused’s conduct undermines the bail system and public security, It does not require rocket scientist to prove that accused has shown a propensity to continue committing the same offence.

The magistrate remanded the case to 5 October as the prosecution argued that Ngadziore is a flight risk and if let go he might also commit the same offence.
