Eleven Kambizi To Replace Shiri In Senate

The ruling ZANU PF party has nominated Eleven Kambizi to fill the Senate seat left vacant after the death national hero Perrance Shiri.

Shiri, who was the Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement Minister, died in July after contracting the coronavirus.

The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) gazetted ZANU PF’s choice of Shiri’s replacement.

The electoral body has invited any voter wishing to object to the nomination of Kambizi to lodge such objection, in writing, with the chief elections officer, at Mahachi Quantum Building, Corner Kaguvi Street and Jason Moyo Avenue, Harare.

Alternatively, objectors can post their objections to Private Bag 7782, Causeway, within 14 days.
