Dzumbira reportedly even said Gata will fund them if they submit a concept proposal to ZESIT with the assurance that they will be awarded the contract.
In the audio Dzumbira reportedly said:
What I want you to do is set up a team of IT fundis in three to four days. We are having presentations next week at the national training centre and once the team submits a concept proposal ,we then say this and this company is ready for the project and we submit the proposal to chairman (Gata) and he will give us the money.
What we are doing is trying to assist Zesa, revenue assurance, digitalisation, generation. We are looking for people to work with because that is what the chairman wants.remember.
