Isuzu D-Max Wins Zimbabwe's Car Of The Year Competition

Isuzu D-Max has won the Zimbabwean car on of the year online competition, The Zimbabwean independent reports. The vehicle has reportedly already won the following awards in other parts of the world:

  1. “Pick-Up of The Year” at the 2019 by WhatVan Awards.
  2.  The Pick-up & 4×4 Pro Awards 2019
  3. “Best Model” in the 2019 4×4 Magazine awards.
  4. Best Working Pick-up in the 2019 Professional Pick-up & 4×4 awards
  5. 2019 Best Workhorse Pick-up Award from Trade Van Driver
  6. In Australia, Best Work Ute” category in the Delivery Magazine’s Best LCV Awards for 2020.

According to the publication:

The Isuzu D-MAX won 56% of the votes. The Mercedes GLE Coupe was second with 7%. The results were verified by Deloitte and Touche an international auditing firm.

Other cars that were part of the completion were:

Renault Duster, Haval H2, RAV4 and Hyundai Tucson. The truck segment has the Isuzu DMax, Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi Triton, Ford Ranger and VW Amarok. The ever-popular SUV segment features the Land Rover Discovery, Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport and Jaguar FPace
