Castle lager’s annual biggest Braai Festival event will this year be held at home due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, H Metro reports.
This was revealed in a statement by Castle Lager that reads in part:
The 2020 edition of the biggest event of the year, the Castle Lager National Braai day, which is traditionally held at a public venue on the last Saturday of October, will be staged in a different format. The idea was born from the strong association between braai activities in the country, beer consumption and listening to music. Considering the current Covid-19 pandemic and the need to ensure adherence to the Covid-19 prevention guidelines, this year’s edition of the Castle Lager National Braai Day will be enjoyed from the comfort of our homes.
A campaign to kick off the event branded Braai Paden kicks off today 4 September and it will end on 25 October 2020 and to participate in the competition which will see many winning prices, one should buy any 3 Castle Lager packs of their choice, fill in their details on the back of their till slip and deposit in entry boxes available at their nearest supermarket.
