ZRP Ropes In Interpol To Help Them Track 4 Armed Robbers Believed To Be Musa Taj Abdul's Accomplicies

ZRP has reportedly engaged International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) to help them track 4 armed robberies that got away when they arrested Musa Taj Abdul and 7 others last week in Beitbridge, The Herald reports.

ZRP reportedly enlisted the help of Interpol particularly from Botswana and South Africa after 4 of the robbers escaped the raid that saw Abdul’s life on the run coming to an end. 2 of the suspects Abednigo Dhlamini and Elias Mpofu, alias Jabulani or Obasanjo, are said to have crossed into South Africa while Brian Murape and Carlington Marasha are suspected to be still in Zimbabwe.

ZRP according to sources that spoke to the publication also approached their counterparts in South Africa and Botswana to gather the number of crimes the gang committed in these countries. The gang is likely to be handed over to these countries to face prosecution in those countries according to the publication.
