Rasta The Artist (real name Lebani Sirenje)in the video below spoke to Newz Room Afrika and discussed his journey in making portraits through the years. Rasta said he left Zimbabwe in 1996 and worked in a restaurant before he left his job to do his painting full time.

Rasta became famous in Zimbabwe after he did musician Oliver Mtukudzi’s portrait which did not resemble Tuku.
