In the following video published by TellZim, Godfrey Kurauone’s lawyer Martin Mureri details what happened in court today and said:
- The state had applied for postponement of the trial
- The state also said they were yet to seek authority from the Prosecutor General (PG) and they said they wanted 30 days to get the PG’s authority.
- The magistrate granted the state’s application and gave them 30 days to put their house in order.

Kuraone was arrested and charged for the 31 July protests.
