MDC Alliance Members Accuse Each Other Of Exposing Sikhala's Whereabouts
Opposition MDC Alliance members over the weekend openly accused each other of snitching on Sikhala leading to his arrest on Friday.
Sikhala has been hiding at a house where former Zanu PF MP for Hurungwe East Sarah Mahoka used to reside in Tynwald when he was arrested by the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
Former Zanu PF youth leader Jim Kunaka accused the party’s youth spokesperson Stephen “Sarkozy” Chuma of betraying the Zengeza West legislator saying Sikhala told them last week that he even had messages from some sources suggesting that Chuma was selling out. He said:
Before we came to the Tynwald house, Sikhala told us… he pointed at Sarkozy (Chuma), who then said there were people who wanted to divide us… on Wednesday, Sikhala came to our room and told us that there was a security threat and that he had messages from his sources that Sarkozy was still selling out.
Chuma denied the allegations suggesting that Kunaka, a former leader the notorious and now-defunct Chipangano terror group, could have betrayed Sikhala. He said:

… Sikhala is more like a brother and father to me… all my rentals up to December were paid by Sikhala. I don’t know why I would then bite the hand that feeds me.
