"Abducted" MDC Alliance Hurungwe Councillor Found Dead Near His Home Today
The body of MDC Alliance Hurungwe Ward 4 Councillor Lavender Chiwaya was earlier today found near his home in Hurungwe, ZimLive reports. The MDC Alliance has said the councillor died after he was abducted by state security agents
Chiwaya’s party the MDC Alliance has said Chiwaya, whose body was found naked 4 houses away from his home was being hunted by state agents and they have accused state agents of killing him.

ZRP National spokesperson said he was still gathering details about the unfortunate incident. The state has been hunting for opposition elements who are opposing the government which has forced some of them like Geodfery Tsenengamu and Job Sikhala into hiding.
