Coronavirus Update: 265 New Cases, 9 Deaths And 337 Recoveries
The Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) has announced 265 new coronavirus cases and 9 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the cumulative figures to 5 643 and 150 respectively.
In a statement on Wednesday night, MoHCC said of the 265 new cases, 254 were local and 11 are returnees from South Africa.
Harare Metropolitan Province reported 6 deaths and each of Mash Central, Masvingo and Mash West reported one death.
337 total recoveries were reported countrywide, with Mat South contributing 188 of the total figure.
Active cases have further fallen to 1 050.
