Coronavirus Update: 70 News Cases, 6 Deaths & 257 Recoveries
Zimbabwe has recorded 70 new coronavirus cases and 6 COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours.
In its daily coronavirus update for 18 August 2020, the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) said 67 of the new cases are local and the other 3 are returnees from Botswana. All 6 deaths are from Harare province.
The number of active cases has gone down to 1 132. 257 total new recoveries were reported, 156 were reported by Matabeleland Province.
Cumulatively, Zimbabwe now has recorded 5 378 cases, 4 105 recoveries and 141 deaths.
