5 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About The New Energy And Power Development Minister Soda Zhemu

1. Soda Zhemu who is Muzarabani North Member of Parliament was born on 04 June 1974 in Centenary, He was 6 years old at Independence in 1980
2. He comes from Muzarabani Growth Point where he attended Primary and Secondary School at Muzarabani primary and secondary school respectively and Machaya Secondary School.
3. He holds a BCOM Accounting Degree from Zimbabwe Open Univerity and an MBA,
4. Zhemu worked as an accounted for Cottco Sanyati until the year 2004. After leaving COTCO he reportedly joined Alliance Ginneries and became a Regional Manager till he left in 2017.
5. Politically, he joined politics when he was 20 in 1994 when he became a member of the Zanu PF youth league and rose through the rank to the point of being the secretary for education at district level at some point.
