Kenneth Mhlophe is expected to give Highlanders stakeholders and fans at large an update about the club’s state of affairs today, Sunday News reports.
Mhlope will reportedly address the media and he is expected to touch on a number of issues, including the club’s financial position. Speculation is rife that Mhlope might also announce that the club is debt free after Nodumo Nyathi’s successful Highlanders Legacy Debt Clearance Campaign.
Mhlope will also address the progress made by the club in finding a new sponsor after NetOne decided to cut short their sponsorship deal with the Bulawayo giants.
Meanwhile, the club’s sort after player Prince Dube reportedly left for Tanzania last week and Mhlope is expected to comment on that issue during his update today.
