Telecel To Raise Data Bundle Prices On August 10

State-owned mobile network operator (MNO) Telecel Zimbabwe has announced that it will hike the price of data bundles on Monday, 10 August 2020.

This comes after another State-owned MNO, NetOne, on Friday increased the price of its various data bundles by between 100% and 300%.

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (POTRAZ) recently gave the green light to MNOs to base their tariffs in US dollars and then adjust them to Zimbabwe dollars using the prevailing official exchange rate.

In a notice to subscribers, Telecel said data bundle prices will be review with effect from 10 August.
