Zanu PF Takes A Jab At Pedzisai Ruhanya

Zanu PF using their website took a jibe at political commentator and activist Pedzisai Ruhanya and said he was having sleepless nights and nightmares because he is afraid of imminent arrest.

Calling him a Pseudo academic, Zanu PF went on to say Ruhanya’s Tweet in which he said he had a nightmare, was evidence that Ruhanya was afraid that the net was closing in on him.

Ruhanya earlier today tweeted about his nightmare which was used by the ruling party to take a swipe at him:

Had a very bad dream last night. Saw violent abductions of citizens, inhumane and degrading treatment. My sleep was cut short. The incidents were bad. My hope is that its just a dream that there are no such plans in the coming nights. But ZANU PF being ZANU PF, u never know.

Zanu Pf went on to say Ruhanya confided to his close allies who inturn told Zanu PF people that he was depressed because of the stands saga.

According to the ruling party:

Ruhanya got a residential stand in Westlea without following laid out procedure according to city council documents under investigation by the President’s Special Anti-Corruption Unit.

He was implicated alongside MDC-A Secretary for International Relations, Gladys Hlatywayo who was allocated residential stand number 11416 in Westlea for free.

This latest development was first leaked to the ZANU PF Department Information and Publicity by Dr Ruhanya’s close associate who further revealed that his friend was fast drifting into depression mode

Ruhanya has been the ruling party’s fiercest critic over the last few months, calling out all the ills bedevilling the country and the ruling party’s maladministration.

Ruhanya has not yet commented on the article or on the allegations made in the article. We will update this article as new details emerge.
