Analyst Ryan Truscott says prominent Zimbabwean investigative journalist and government critic, Hopewell Chin’ono is being punished for speaking against corruption.
Truscott told France24 that Chin’ono’s arrest will be seen as an attempt to silence him and to discourage others from speaking out in the same way.
Chin’ono was arrested on Monday morning when heavily-armed police officers broke into his house in Chisipite, Harare.
