Aston Villa this Tuesday host Arsenal in a do or die Premier League encounter. Their survival chances remain slim after chucking away two points in the final three minutes at Everton last week.
The Villains will be relegated if Watford who are hosting Manchester City tonight better their result.
This means that even if they win against the Gunners, they need a big, big favour from Manchester City and other teams if they are to survive.
- If Watford draw against City, Villa need to beat Arsenal to avoid needing a goal-difference swing.
- If Watford beat City then Villa need to beat Arsenal and West Ham while hoping Arsenal beat Watford by a big-goal margin on the final-day.
Victory over Arsenal would put Villa on the fold of clawing their way out of the bottom three while a draw against could also do, as long as Villa beat West Ham on the final day, and hope Bournemouth and Watford lose their remaining games.
Relegation will be a blow for the Zimbabwean defensive midfielder, Marvelous Nakamba who joined the English side this season from Belgium side Club Brugge.
