Keith Guzhah Burial Delayed

Businessman and politician Keith Guzhah who suddenly passed on yesterday’s burial arrangements have been put on hold because the results of the COVID-19 tests that were done posthumously are yet to be released, The Herald reports.

This was revealed by Guzha’s daughter Nicole who told the Herald that:

We have been told that results will now be released tomorrow (today). So far we cannot make any arrangements for burial because the body went for testing for Covid-19 at Parirenyatwa (Group of Hospitals) and the results are not yet out.

We were told that by end of day today (yesterday) the results will be ready, only to be told late afternoon to expect them tomorrow (today). If we had gotten them today (yesterday) then burial would have been tomorrow (today)

Guzhah was a Muslim and he will be buried according to his Muslim rites. Meanwhile, 6 people have tested positive for COVID-19 posthumously since Zimbabwe recorded its first COVID-19 death on 23 March 2020.
