Umzingwane MP Donates A Beast To Highlanders Football Club

Levi Mayihlome who is the Umzingwane MP and his wife Lethiwe have donated a beast to the Bulawayo football giants, Highlanders football club to be shared between the players and the coach, the Chronicle reports.

The matter came to light as the club’s spokesperson Ronal Moyo was thanking the Mayihlome family for their donation. Moyo said:

We are glad to receive this gesture from Brig Gen (Rtd) Levi Mayihlome and Mrs Mayihlome. The MP and his family are ardent Highlanders fans and this is how far they have decided to show their support for the club. We really appreciate that.

Highlanders had been left without a sponsor after NetOne withdrew their sponsorship a few months ago. iBosso has been surviving on donations from well-wishers and fans after the MNO withdrew the sponsorship deal. Last month, Insiza North MP Farai Taruvinga donated $50 000 to the club.
