ZANU PF legislator for Gokwe Nembudziya, Justice Mayor Wadyajena has urged President Emmerson Mnangagwa to ban alcohol and tobacco as a measure to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

His advice comes after South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa had imposed a night-time curfew that would be in place from 21:00 to 04:00 banned the selling of alcohol and made it compulsory to wear masks outdoors.

Posting on Twitter this Monday, Wadyajena said:

I implore H.E @edmnangagwa to immediately ban & criminalise the sale, possession & consumption of both alcohol & tobacco 🚬 until a COVID cure is found. With local transmissions surging to unprecedented levels, it’s time unpopular decisions are made! We’re too poor to take chances.

  1. This guy is clearly missing some brain cells, “until covoid cure can be found” and until the two of our biggest industries should close down and cause even further economic damage. People like this should not be allowed to speak, the stupidity of this comment makes me wonder how these people are chosen for positions…… surely there needs to be a basic IQ level that must be upheld😂😂😂 stupid on so many levels.
