WATCH: Police Officers Accused Of Demanding Kickbacks

Police officers in the video below are being accused of corruption, a phenomenon that is now common and deeply entrenched in the country.

Reports point to the presence of petty, grand and or systemic corruption in the Southern African country manifesting in the form of bribery, extortion, cronyism, nepotism, patronage, influence peddling, graft, and embezzlement.

A number of government ministers, serving and former, has so far been arrested or accused of engaging in underhand dealings that have contributed to or worsened the economic and humanitarian crisis in the country.

Despite publicly and vehemently daring to confront corruption head-on, President Mnangagwa has so far failed to prove his interest in fighting the rot, his critics say.
