Some Zanu PF Bigwigs Involved In Planning 31 July Protests - Tsenengamu

Former Zanu PF youth leader Godfrey Tsenengamu has claimed that some Zanu PF heavyweights are involved in planning the 31 July protests because they are tired of corruption, the Daily News reports.

Tsenengamu could not be drawn to name the bigwigs he claimed were involved in planning the protests and he said people will see them on the day of the protest:

The whole nation is in agreement against what the looters are doing. They will be surprised that on July 31, the majority of Zanu PF members are going to be part of the protest against corruption. We are talking with some senior Zanu PF members.

Some are even … telling us that they are tired of corruption … we are working with them. Wait and see how many people are going to come out from Zanu PF who will be supporting this protest. There are many. This is not about factions, it’s about people who are victims of corruption

Tsenengamu over the last few months has said Zanu PF is broke and Billy Rautenbach is paying Zanu PF salaries and compared former President Mugabe’s sons were not as bad as President Mnangagwa’s sons.
