Chamisa Should Stop Using The MDC Alliance Name, Its Our Name - Mwonzora Vows Taking Action Against Chamisa

MDC T reinstated Secretary-General Douglas Mwonzora has renewed his bid to stop Nelson Chamisa who is mourning his mother from using the MDC Alliance name as he claims the name belongs to his party the MDC T, Daily News reports.

Mwonzora said this in an interview with the publication yesterday when he vowed to take action against the youthful politician:

It is our name because the MDC Alliance is a group of political parties. We are the major political party in the alliance, they must stop using this name, they must look for another name. We will deal with this issue at the right time.

MDC T whose 2014 structures were restored by the Supreme Court in March has been recalling MDC Alliance legislators and has already taken over the MDC Alliance headquarters in Harare and will take over the latter’s Bulawayo offices this week.
