Zimbo Launches A Dialogue Petition For ED & Chamisa

A concerned Zimbabwean has launched an online petition in a bid to get President Mnangagwa and the youthful opposition leader Nelson Chamisa to dialogue to end the current political impasse in the country.

The petition that was started by one Moses Machipisa is titled End The Crisis: National Unity Dialogue Between Emmerson Mnangagwa and Nelson Chamisa is 50 signatures shy of it 2 500 target so far. The petition reads:

Zimbabwe has been in a crisis for years and now it is worsening. The economy is crumbling and there is a lot of economic, political and social instability. If the situation continues unresolved the country will be thrown into further chaos and unrest. We are calling upon all progressive Zimbabweans to sign this petition for a National Unity Dialogue between Emmerson Mnangagwa and Nelson Chamisa, with input from the Business community, the Church, Civil Society, the Youth and Citizens for them to put their differences aside, unite and work together in a power sharing arrangement such as a  Government of National Unity for the sake of peace, development and a secure future for all Zimbabweans. #NationalDialogueZW  #ReconcileZim

Since the 2018 elections, Nelson Chamisa has refused to recognise President Mnangagwa as an elected leader as he said the disputed elections were doctored to usher him into office in his place.  To check the progression of the petition click here
