I Will Trigger A Revolution If The People Surveilling Me Carry Out Their Threats Against Me - Sikhala

Fifebrand politician and MDC Alliance Vice-Chair Job Sikhala made sensational claims over the weekend when he claimed there are people constantly surveilling him, Daily News reports. Sikhala said he had already set plans in motion if the people he said were surveilling him carry out their threats against him.

Sikhala in a statement said:

Let me be unequivocal. I will not tolerate any persecution of my person anymore … I have mobilised the people to trigger a revolution in the event that they carry out their threats against me.

I will never be persecuted because of my resolute stance against this evil regime. My Masvingo treason trial will be a picnic.

People governing our country should take responsibility for their failures. Trying to use other people as scapegoats is dangerous to their (the government’s) very survival.

Sikhala was a few weeks ago named by home affairs minister as one of the people spreading “imminent coup rumours” and he was strongly warned by the minister. Sikhala, however, denied the allegations.
