The account was also recently involved in verbal warfare with another account in the name of a fellow party member, Christopher Mutsvangwa who has also since distanced himself from the account. Matemadanda said:
I do not have a twitter account. Let it be known that Matemadanda does not have a Twitter account. The twitter account is a creation of my enemies who are trying to destabilise the party and soil my name.
Matemadanda said despite all the efforts, the ruling party will remain intact. He speaks when there are reports of divisions in ZANU PF.
Reports of factionalism increased last year when vice president Constantino Chiwenga who is alleged to be leading another faction was recovering in China where he was receiving medical attention for suspected poisoning.
There are also reports which suggest that the remnants of the G40 faction are working tirelessly to bring back fired members including Saviour Kasukuwere.
