“You’re Going To Find More Cases, Slow Down The Testing Please,” – Trump

United States president, Donald Trump during his Tulsa, Oklahoma, rally on Saturday night, said that he had told his people to slow down tests for coronavirus to avoid recording more cases.

The US has as of 11:33 AM, 22 June 2020 had recorded 2 280 969 cases including 119 977 deaths making it the worst affected country in the world. Addressing his supporters, Trump said:

You know testing is a double-edged sword. Here’s the bad part … when you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find more people; you’re going to find more cases. So I said to my people, slow the testing down please.
An administration official told CNN later Saturday that the President was “obviously kidding,” and White House trade adviser Peter Navarro said Sunday that the remark was made in jest.
Some analysts, however, said the remark was not funny adding that it was actually appalling. Symone Sanders, a senior adviser to Biden, said on Fox News Sunday:
This is an appalling attempt to lessen the numbers only to make them look good.
The US has so far tested over 25 million people and if not contained, the pandemic can have an adverse impact on the elections expected later this year.

  1. Ah yes this is from the same publication that was standing in front of a burning building while guns were being fired and said everything was peaceful. CNN is for the low IQ individuals that see a tree and call it a wheelbarrow, it is responsible for dumbing down (if that is possible) it’s already stupid audience. Let’s hope with the riots CNN will be burnt down😂 Not surprising no context is shown but all can watch Trumps speech on YouTube instead of reading propoganda.
