Water Vendors are reportedly on the rise in Harare as Water shortages persist in the Zimbabwean Capital, The Zimbabwean reports.

Residents in some parts of Harare have been left with no choice but to buy water from water vendors who are reportedly charging anything between $10 and $50 to their customers looking for the precious liquid.

Anadolu Agency spoke to residents in Harare where water is scarce and one resident who has a 1000 liter water tank and has a household with 12 people said:

I have to fork over $50 each time I have to refill my water tank.

Anadolu Agency also spoke to water a water vendor like Happymore Chizuzu who said:

Latest Tecno Pop 8 - now available in Pindula.

$94, Cash on Delivery in Harare & Bulawayo.

WhatsApp: 0783 450 793

Per month, I make at list 15 to 20 deliveries of bulky water, raking in about $1,000
